Alaska Birdhouse Bed and Breakfast, Homer Alaska

Homer, Alaska

is quiet, homelike and peaceful. One of our guests describes it as a sanctuary.

A private stair case leads to a comfortable, restful and unique apartment where everything is at your fingertips. Queen and twin beds offer you a spot to curl up with a book or for a nap.

The full kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals for your crew including a few staples to get you started. We stock the kitchen with bread, butter, milk, juice, dry cereal, eggs from our own chickens and ducks, tea and K-Bay Roasting Company’s superb coffee.

The bath has almost everything you need from big fluffy towels to a hair dryer. Other features of the Birdhouse include T.V., V.C.R., phone, video’s, books and games.

, located just below the Birdhouse, has two twin beds, a T.V. and V.C.R. The twins can be converted to a king size bed. Intercoms make communicating between the two rooms easy. The Nest is decorated in rustic, Alaskan style. We hope you enjoy the antiques. An inflatable bed can be added to both The Birdhouse and The Nest for additional sleeping space.

We are near a park with newly surfaced tennis courts, swings and slides. A quarter of a mile away is a family owned and run market and a laundromat.
We are just 5 minutes to Homer, 10 to the Spit and 25 to the Anchor River where you can catch Salmon through the month of June.
